Carpenter Ant Queens
A larger (6mm - 2.5 cm) and very interesting species of ants, known for their habit of nesting in wood.
These ants construct massive and intricate homes out of decaying wood. Although labelled as a pest by some, they are a very active and interesting species of ant that is an essential part of any forest.
